Ness is a Black, queer, non-binary introvert living with chronic illnesses who has been teaching and getting nerdy about sex since 2012. They are particularly passionate about sexual health, sex toy safety, kink, non-monogamy, and building intersectional sex positive communities. In addition to leading workshops through their day job and independently, Agnes organises events locally in Ottawa, performs occasionally, and writes/rants about sex, kink, and relationships on the internet. Ness has had the honour of teaching for local community organisations, and at various events including Queering Power 2016 and Unholy Harvest 2017. They have performed at rope exhibitions in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Ness had the pleasure of giving a keynote talk at the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity’s Canadian Youth Forum & Conversation on STBBIs in 2016.
