ACT has been providing a wide range of programs and services to people living with, affected by, and at risk for HIV since 1983. Besides working with specific communities that have been hard-hit by HIV in Toronto to stop the spread of HIV through education, outreach and community building activities; we also help HIV-positive people in many different ways – including counselling, support groups, information provision and help returning to the workforce. We also offer information, advice and support to the friends and family of those living with HIV.
As a leader in HIV-related programs and services, we take part in research that helps us to better understand and respond to the needs of those we serve and as a community-based organization we depend on hundreds of volunteers to deliver our programs and services.
ACT will have a special bootblack presentation on Saturday!
